Code Te Ching - Verse 42

Perfect numbers are an illusion
    they give a sense of control.
Perfect measures create confusion,
    they lose track of reality.

Reality is imperfect.

Thus the wise guide empirically,
not by number and measure.

Rules are for the benefit of fools
the wise need only follow his heart.
